It’s such a classic ploy. Those who have been through it could see it for what it was. I remained cautiously optimistic, at my own peril. Despite being the number one technical “producer” in the organization, I was of “negative value” to the new management regime. The reason for this is clear. If we were to fail, the new management would be blamed. If we were to succeed, I would be able to claim partial credit. I’m out, I’m at a new company, I’m no longer management, and this blog may go in a different direction now as a result.
